Newborn Session - $275

 

Commit to memory the freshness , wonder and pure perfection of your new arrival  with a 3-4 hour newborn portrait session.  



These sessions are optimally  held between 5-12 days after the birth (time adjusted for premmies) to help capture those dreamy, sleepy poses.   This is when baby is more flexible and less sensitive to re-positioning and noise.



Newborn sessions are held in my studio which is located in Freshwater on Sydney's Northern Beaches.  My studio is self-contained and fully equipped ensuring you have access to an extensive range of props such as beautiful textiles, bowls, baskets and backdrops. Within the studio, there is a comfortable parent's lounge where you can put your feet up and relax whilst I work my magic.

 

Until you have been part of a newborn session, it is hard to understand how it can last for up to four hours!  Every single newborn and baby session is different as all are run to the baby's timetable.

I only accept one newborn session a day to allow for feeding, changing and settling so no-one feels rushed.  During this time we will work on capturing between 3-5 set-ups on the beanbag, floor and also family and/or sibling shots.

 

You are encouraged to be involved, to capture the love and connection between your new family.  None of the tiny details are missed - a session will almost always include macro shots of hands, feet, eyelashes, and lips as well as the big picture.

 

The session fee includes one 8x12" and two 5x7" prints as well as one digital high-resolution customised birth annoucement.  For a full price list, refer to the pricing tab.
