Dogs | Cassie & Phoebe the Labradors

Meet Cassie and Phoebe, my best furry girls. These are the resident Rachel Wildig Photography dogs and the ones that inspired me to add dog portraiture to my offering.

They are goofy, greedy, shed like nothing you would believe, they bark the house down when anyone dares set a foot on the property (or even glances sideways at it).

They get in the bin and litter the kitchen with garbage, they steal food from the pantry and from the kitchen bench, they chew socks, they sneak into the bed even though it's the one place they're not supposed to go.

They cost a small fortune at the vet, they are Retrievers that do not know how to retrieve.

But they are impossible not to love. They are tolerant and gentle, intelligent and loving, protective and loyal. They are the best companions and I would not be without them for anything.
